Increasing grant money will definitely attract more people to the nursing profession and help solve the nursing shortage. I do wonder, however, what will happen with the economic crisis. It seems that rather than increasing funds, we will see budget cuts. This has already happened at JMU. Despite this, I hope this bill see passage and I fully support your stand and the legislation.

This is a great point you bring to the table. Our group has the same concerns with the current state of the economy but we fully believe in this bill and its overall goal and hope that the economy's status will not be a hinderence to its approval.
